Balloon bear

Hello!
I would like to show you a new card:

The image is by Imagine That and I colored it with alcohol based markers. (To myself: I need ot learn how to color balloons!!)

I used Folia paper as background. I used pink ribbon and a cute bow as embellishment. I guess my favorite size of bows are small, as I never do big ones.

I hope you like it!

Hello, dear friends!
I would like to show you a new card I made (long time I didn't make a pink card...):

The image is a freebie at Connie Fong group at Facebook. I colored it with alcohol based markers and placed it on a pink cardstock mat.

The background papers are My mind's eyes. And more pink cardstock to mat the card.

As embellishments I used pink rhinestones and pink ribbon and made a bow.

Hoppy day

Hello and happy Sunday!
I  would like to show you a card I did:

The image is a freebie at Imagine That group at Facebook, and there is a challenge to use it. I colored it with alcohol based markers and placed it on a green cardstock mat. The sentiment is one of the many that come with the cute image. ( I think I am improving at coloring with markers)

I used Pinguino double sided polka dot green paper for the background and more green cardstock to mat it.

To embellish it I made a little bouquet with three fabric flowers (pink, purple and yellow) and green baker's twine, in one of the corners I placed a heart button... I hope you like it!

Bloom where you are planted

Hello and happy Friday!
I had an accident today when closing the gates at home, my right thomb was traped between the two parts and now I have a very unhealthy finger (sorry for any typing  mistake). I hope it heals soon because I  don't know if I can  make cards like this, the Dr told me to expect my nail to fall :(
Today I would like to show you a card I made (not today, early in the week):

The image is the one for the monthly challenge at From the Heart stamps. I colored it with alcohol based markers and feel very happy with the result. I cut it with a circle die.

I used green cardstock for the background, and a mix and match patterned papers (Poligrphservis and Folia).

I used a green ribbon with golden edges as embellishment and nothing else, I feel it was enough for the LO.

Watering can

Hello and happy Thursday!
I want to give a very  warm welcome to the new followers, I feel so honored that you decided to follow me...
Now, another new challenge is starting at Cre8tive Hands Friends. As usual our challenge is Anything Goes.
This is the card I made:

I do like watering can images for cards, I don't know why because I am not a garden person, but I do! I colored this beatiful watering can with Kurecolor and Bic alcohol based markers. I cut the image with Spellbinders Labels1 die.

For the background I used Folia patterned papers and also used Spellbinders Labels 1 to made the mat for the image. I don't know what you think about this mix and match, but I find it quite nice :)

To embellish the card I used yellow-orange ribbon and made a double bow, I like making bows not too big and I like the double ones, they look cuter. I used some yellow cardstock and punched out a butterfly, I used an orange rhinestone for it.

I think this card could be used for many purposes: mother's day, thank you, etc....

In a field of daisies

Hello and happy Thursday!
Another new challenge is starting at Cre8tive Hands Friends. As usual our challenge is Anything Goes.
This is one of the cards I made:

How cute is this girl surrounded by daisies, lying down on the grass..... I love this cutie!!! I colored it with Kurecolor and Bic alcohol based markers. I used a punch to round the corners of the image.

For the background I used a purple cardstock and an embossing folder (Little flowers - Sizzix), I really like this folder, it is one of my favorites together with dots, it is versatile, goes well with many images and gives a wonderful texture to the paper. To embellish it I used a daisy paper flower and a gingham purple ribbon and made a bow.

A little birdie told me

Hello and happy Thursday!
Another new challenge is starting at Cre8tive Hands Friends. As usual our challenge is Anything Goes.
This is one of the cards I made:

I colored the digistamp with Kurecolor and Bic alcohol based markers. I am still learning on how to use them and still struggling with them as you can see..... I cut the image with a circle die cut and made some faux stitches around it.

I used Folia patterned papers, one is a blue gingham and the second one is a pink with little hearts. I used these two papers together a few times already, I feel it is a good combo, they match together and with many images, and also I like the "country" style given to the project.

To embellish it, I used a blue heart button, some blue thread and three pink rhinestones.

Card with a face

Hello and happy Wednesday!
It is almost Thursday here, hahaha... anyways, I would like to show you a card I made:

The image is a newsletter freebie by The East Wind (April one). When the image was realeased the challenge was to make a steampunk card, I didn't have the time at that moment, I colored it but never was on time for the challenge.

When I colored it I also did the hair, but I didn't like it, so to make the card I cut it out. I used Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils.

For the background I used kraft cardstock and a "steampunk" embossing folder ( I don't remember the name of it, it is a Sizzix one). That's it! A very CAS card...

And as my daughter says: May the 4th be with you today!!!

Growing as much as you can

Hello, and happy Tuesday!
I would like to show you a card I made a few days ago with the newsletter freebie by Cute as a Button.

I colored the image with Kurecolor and Bic alcohol based markers.  As you may know I am learning how to use the markers. I need to improve in the clothes, but I like how the pots look.

For the background I used orange cardstock and Swirls embossing folder (Sizzix). And as I went for an unusual (for me) color combo, I used purple cardstock to mat the image.

I made flowers to embellish it with a punch green, orange and purple cardstock and some yellow rhinestones.

Fairy card

Happy Monday!
Last week I made this card but didn't have time to blog about it.

The image is a freebie by Faery Ink and I colored it with Koh-i-noor acuarelable pencils. I used some pink glitter (and I think it was a mistake). I cut it with a circle die (Sizzix).

For the background I used Poligraphservis patterned paper and some pink cardstock to mat it. I also used pink cardstock to mat the image and cut it with a Nestabilities Flower die.

To embellish the card I used pink and green rhinestones and butterflies in the same colors of the background paper.

Happy Bird-day!

Hello and happy Saturday!
I would like to show you a new card I made:

The image is Five Party Birds  and I colored it with alcohol based markers (Kurecolor and Bic). I also printed one of the sentiments from the set, but I couldn't find it when I was finishing the card  :( I  cut it with a rectangle nestabilities die leaving some part out of it. (I hope to find soon the sentiment...)

I used two different patterned paper from a Poligraphservis stack. I used pastel yellow cardstock and a Happy Birthday embossing folder for the background. I made some faux stitches with a black fiine marker.

I used a blue gross ribbon to embellish it. Although the sketch didn't ask for buttons or any other element in the right upper corner, I felt the card needed something to balance the LO.
